Farming

Plant a seed on top of a block and it grows into a tree. When the tree is ripe, punch it once to harvest its blocks.

How farming works

Ripe trees also pay Lox, more for crops whose seeds are harder to get. Mining and farming share one daily Lox limit.
Legendary crops (Starfruit, Sunstone and Nightfruit) pay 1,000 Lox straight into your balance, outside the limit. Their seeds sometimes come with the harvests of rarer crops.
Harvests sometimes give the seed back, less often for rarer crops. Breaking a block sometimes drops its seed.
Fertilizer halves the time a growing tree still needs, once per tree. Holding a sickle can add a block to each harvest.
Splicing: put a seed on a young tree of another seed to make a new one. A splice that makes a Rare seed needs level 8.
