1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing UrbanRoots ("the Game") or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Game Rules & Conduct

When using UrbanRoots, you agree NOT to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, hacks, bots, or any unauthorized third-party software.
  • Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other players.
  • Scam other players in trades or any other interactions.
  • Impersonate staff, moderators, or other players.
  • Spam, advertise, or promote external services in-game.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the game servers or other players' accounts.
  • Exploit bugs or glitches instead of reporting them.
  • Engage in real-money trading (RMT) of in-game items or currency outside the game.

4. In-Game Purchases

  • UrbanRoots is free-to-play with optional in-game purchases.
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
  • In-game currency and items have no real-world monetary value.
  • We reserve the right to modify prices, items, and availability at any time.
  • You do not own any in-game items or currency; you are granted a limited license to use them within the Game.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in UrbanRoots — including but not limited to graphics, sprites, music, code, game design, and text — is the property of UrbanRoots and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use any game assets without our written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

Players may create worlds, build structures, and interact within the Game. By creating content in-game, you grant UrbanRoots a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Game. You retain ownership of your creative ideas, but the in-game implementation exists within our platform.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to cheating, scamming, harassment, or exploiting. Banned accounts may lose access to all in-game items and purchases.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep UrbanRoots available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss of progress or data due to downtime or technical issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

UrbanRoots is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game or website.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Game or our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
